another great summer intern!

Richard Deng is a recent graduate of Belmont High School in Massachusetts and an incoming freshman studying biochemistry at MIT.


Since moving to Massachusetts, he has been an enthusiast of math competitions, serving as a math team captain and middle school coach and founding the competition Belmont Math Hunt to broaden interest and access to math opportunities. Aside from math, Richard enjoys playing poker and planning travels with friends and family.


This summer, he looks forward to working at together.science to develop a math competition on MoM (Moment of Math)!
